Barbara J McClure
Dr Barbara McClure is an Early Career Researcher investigating Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) genomics in th Cancer Program at SAHMRI. With significant experience in exploring the molecular mechanism and cell biology of haematological malignancies Dr McClure has contributed to her field with 45 peer review publications. Dr McClure's current research aims to understand how specific high-risk genomic alterations in ALL promote leukaemia cell survival. Through the interrogation of ALL transcriptomic data Dr McClure is identifying potential therapeutic targets for preclinical targeted therapy assessment. Dr McClure was named as an AMP Tomorrow maker in 2019 and a former CSIRO STEM Professional in Schools volunteer.
