I am a second year PhD student at deakin University, with a keen interest in pediatric cancer biology. I am currently trying to elucidate on the importance of epigenetic mechanisms; especially methylation on promoting metastasis and invasion in pediatric astrocytoma patients. I aspire to adapt the findings of my research in devising a better informed treatment strategy and improving quality of life after the treatment in pediatric subjects.
